No matter the project, HSSE is at the very core of our participation. Our extensive internal experience and techniques as well as being an integral part our service also allows us to offer HSSE services as an independent service.

Reference Marine International’s HSSE experts come from a wide variety of backgrounds including emergency services (fire and police) and military. All have experience within heavy engineering and the marine industry allowing us to offer our clients a broad range of services. All Reference Marine International HSSE inspectors are qualified to National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) standard and are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

SITE HSSE:

Where we identify a need to improve practices, our systems bring a fast and effective solution. Our techniques and experience can also complement an already established HSSE structure to improve working conditions and ultimately deliver a more cost effective workforce.

INDEPENDENT HAZARD ASSESSMENT:

Reference Marine International can carry out one-off hazard assessments, whether to respond to emergencies or where you want the objective opinion of an independent party.

DESIGN APPROVAL:

The best HSSE practices start at the design stage of any project. Reference Marine International will review designs to incorporate and facilitate HSSE best practice at the very core of the vessels design.

SPECIFIC AND GENERAL HAZARD TRAINING:

Simple training on either general safety awareness or a specific issue can make a big difference to occupational HSSE. We offer a range of training programs and lectures as required.

VESSEL EXTERNAL SECURITY INSPECTIONS:

Let us examine your vessel’s external security, including anti-piracy, tactical and in-port crime prevention. Please note we do not provide any private security services, nor are we held under retainer by any such service.

VESSEL INTERNAL SECURITY INSPECTIONS:

Your confidential material is as important as your cargo. Our experts have worked with the highest security caveats and can advise you on internal security techniques and systems.
